1. The Refrigerant – R290
One of the most crucial components of any heat pump is the refrigerant. Tongyi heat pumps use R290, an eco-friendly refrigerant known for its high efficiency and low environmental impact. R290 belongs to Class 2, meaning it has lower flammability compared to other refrigerants. However, this also means that special care must be taken during installation and operation. 2. Installation Site Considerations
