During this phase, trained technicians disassemble the devices, segregating their various components like plastics, metals, and hazardous materials like batteries or refrigerants.

Once sorted, the individual components are subjected to recycling or disposal methods tailored to their nature. Non-hazardous materials like plastics and metals are often recycled and repurposed, reducing the need for virgin resources and minimizing the carbon footprint associated with their production.
